Last night at the Telus Studio in at the Banff Centre, Leah Abramson and her band The Abramson Singers were working late into the night (around 1am) with producer Tony Berg (Peter Gabriel, Bob Dylan). They were finalizing a song called "Hallmark Poultry Ltd.", which is an older tune of Leah's. She released the track on her debut album Bedroom/City but was never happy with how it sounded, so she decided take another run at it here at the Banff Centre.
At around 9pm Tony Berg exclaimed, " this is the best track I have ever had the pleasure of working on". Needless to say, it was a good move to rework the tune. Look out for it on her R3 page in the future.
