Actually, I have only good thoughts about my good friend and comrade, and if I did have a beef, I'd take to him first. Call it manners, if you want.
Well, good manners and good copy seldom go together, and that's why you'll find that musicians and their thoughts on other musicians often make the news. Case in point: Danko Jones and his early reviews of the Metallica/Lou Reed project. Tweeting up a storm this week, he called their record Lulu "the Battlefield Earth/Ishtar/Waterworld of rock n' roll."
This past week we got to hear about Courtney Love's thoughts on "opening" for Limp Bizkit at an Australian music festival... but then her list of public feuds is quite extensive. And last year there was the um, disagreement between Stars and F**ed Up over Arizona's immigrantion law. And then there's that Oasis brother thing.
In short, there is no shortage of these dirty laundry airings, but I do wonder:
WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT BANDS FEUDING IN PUBLIC?
DO YOU THINK THERE SHOULD BE MORE COMMRADERIE AMONGST ARTISTS?
OR
DO BAND BATTLE ROYALES MAKE FOR FUN SPORT?
