Today marks the 75th anniversary of CBC’s first broadcast! On November 2, 1936, the Canadian Broadcasting Act replaced the Canadian Radio Broadcasting Commission with a Crown corporation known as CBC/Radio-Canada.

As part our special programming to celebrating CBC’s three quarters of a century, today we’ll be playing “Feist presents Metals at the Glen Gould Studio.”
The concert was recorded last week in Toronto, where Feist performed songs from her new album Metals, and was joined on stage by special guests Jeff Tweedy (Wilco), Bry Webb (Constantines), Edward Droste (Grizzly Bear), Doug Paisley and Mocky! The broadcast will begin around 8pm ET/4pm PT!
