Back on the road again, with Vancouver rapper Moka Only who is riding shotgun with me today in the booth.
The incredibly prolific artist has a new project called Zzbra, a collaboration with fellow local artist Evil Ebenezer. He’ll be by to talk about this latest work, and also to play some songs as we meander.
I’m pretty excited to sit down with this guy since I’ve always wanted to ask someone in hip hop “what’s up with all these collaborations? Can’t you guys work alone?”
That said, Moka has one of the most longest lists of solo albums I have ever seen. Have a look at his Wikipedia page. Since 1995 he’s pretty much put out something each year; in 2009 he released seven records. So maybe we’ll get to the incredible work ethic of Moka and his friends. Jeez, I feel like such a slacker… But before I get too whiny here, let’s get to topic of discussion:
