It's no secret that hip-hop is alive, well, and much-loved here in Canada but its saga--your saga--has never really been told before. We're here to remedy all that by building Hip-Hop in Canada: Our Story, an online oral hisory of the culture featuring perspectives from the most prominent personalities that have brought us from back in the day to here we are, right now. Most importantly though, we want to hear from you. What has your role been as someone who loves hip-hop? Are you an aspiring artist, a booster, or a fan? When has this music hit you the hardest? From key concerts by domestic and international artists to records that blew your mind, tell us your stories about great hip-hop moments in Canada and how they affected you. With your help, we’ll document something amazing here for generations to come and keep hip-hop in Canada alive forever.
