It was announced a while back, but now there's video evidence: The Beach Boys are back at it. In a video released Tuesday, the Boys are back in the recording studio remaking one of their classic tunes - 'Do It Again', appropriately enough.
There were some other great videos this week: the latest effort from ex-White Stripe Jack White, Vancouver quartet Yukon Blonde returns home, Julia Holter takes us into a euphoric dream-like landscape that includes puppies in hawaiian shirts, Montreal's Hoshi Neko crafts a stop-motion video, Tennis drops a faux-vintage ski thriller and Shearwater shows us what 'Night At The Museum' would have been like on LSD.
Also, Lambchop delivers an ode to professional wrestling, the Grammy Award-winning Bon Iver perform an intimate 5-song set for 4AD, and Portland's Chromatics pay tribute to Neil Young. For more great tunes, make sure to listen to the Strombo Show on CBC Radio 2 on Sunday night at 8.
