25-year-old singer Lana Del Rey may be dating Guns N’ Roses frontman Axl Rose, who is twice her age. They were spotted leaving L.A.’s Chateau Marmont on Friday. When Del Rey was known as Lizzy Grant, she recorded a demo called “Axl Rose Husband.”
Speaking of stuff that makes you feel dirty, Glee co-creator Brad Falchuk has been announced as the writer of the upcoming Dirty Dancing remake. Kenny Ortega, the director of High School Musical and the choreographer of the original 1987 Dirty Dancing, will direct the remake, which is scheduled for release in 2013. No word on who is set to star in the Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey roles, but Justin Timberlake and Emma Stone are rumoured.
Madonna’s new album, MDNA, looks like it will break a dubious record, the biggest one-week sales drop in history. The album sold 359,000 copies in its first week and will only sell 46,000 in its second week, down 88 per cent. The first week’s numbers may have been inflated, as the CDs were included with ticket sales.
