R3 Weekend: Raises a toast to the people who tried to raise the Titanic

Hey welcome to R3 Weekend this Sunday the 15^th April.

Sometime during last night 100 years ago the Titanic struck an iceberg and the unsinkable did the unthinkable and sank.

Today the world looks back on the Titanic story. Here’s a few of the Canadian tales of woe from that fateful night.

Since the ship’s wreckage was located there have been some wild ideas on how to raise the Titanic from its watery grave. They even made a movie about it. (which looks awesome)

Here are a few more of those hair brained schemes to raise the Titanic, one involving millions of ping pong balls.
