Hola! And a very happy Record Store Day to you!
I have a hunch that most of you Radio 3 listeners are pretty big fans of records. I am too! So Record Store Day always gives me the warm fuzzies. I get especially excited by all the crazy creative stuff that bands do. From the glory that is Feistodon to a record that comes with actual blood from its creators, you never know what to expect on Record Store Day.
But why do we confine it to one day? As this awesome article discusses, there's a market for really cool releases all year round. My one wish this Record Store Day (I get a wish, right?) is that the spirit of creativity and whimsy that comes out today gets extended and lasts all year. I mean, poor Jack White is going to get tired if he has to have every good idea himself.
