The Aldeburgh Connection’s 30th anniversary gala concert brought together 16 of Canada’s finest singers at Koerner Hall in Toronto. CBC Music recorded the program for broadcast, and we’re also presenting videos of the individual performances.
Tenor Michael Colvin and baritone Tyler Duncan joined forces with pianists Bruce Ubukata and Stephen Ralls for the duet Blaue Augen hat das Mädchen by Robert Schumann. It’s from his Spanische Liebeslieder, Op. 138.
