Skratch Bastid kicks off his Skratch of All Trades show in Toronto tonight.

 

Jay-Z and 50 Cent have each launched Facebook gaming apps. In Jigga’s Sims-like Empire, players work their way from “hustler, to entrepreneur, to business mogul,” while 50 Cent’s Blackjack is a virtual casino where Facebook users can challenge their friends or play the dealer.

Talib Kweli has announced a tour, including a Toronto stop at the Sound Academy on June 1.

Nas has been criticized by his ex, Carmen Bryan, for revealing private information about their daughter Destiny in the MC’s celebrated new song “Daughters,” which came out earlier this week.
