It’s the first day of May and though I’ve actually seen quite a bit of fauna from this very wet April, I’m most excited by Tour Diary today with The Dudes.
If you’ve been keeping up with the Calgary rockers, they’ve been documenting their tour exploits pretty faithfully at their website. Here's a taste:
“Dear Montreal, you’re kind of an A-hole. I refuse to believe that ROCK is dead here, but it sure seems that way. The promotor: great, the venue: perfect, soundman: got skills… but you, your ROCK is just broken. Every effing time! Of the 30 kids who showed up, 15 of you ruled. 15 of you partied like you were an army. Kudos for that. You made it SO worth it. But for being Canada’s 2nd largest city, you have a lot to learn about being awesome. You should come to Calgary some day.”
Looking very forward to talking to Scott Ross today at 1:30 PT. I’ll be digging for dirt. And I think this time I’ll get some.
