Conor Maynard takes your questions

On May 7, 2012, we’ll be talking with the hottest act out of the U.K. since the Beatles, or at least the Spice Girls, or no, wait, maybe since One Direction. Either way, Brighton’s Conor Maynard is hot. The teen is being heralded as Britain’s Justin Bieber, and even has his own legion of fans that rival Bieber’s Beliebers, called Mayniacs (not be confused with the fans of Brian May). Maynard is sitting down with CBC Music this Monday to answer your questions while promoting his new single “Can’t Say No.”

Maybe you want to know about how he ended up working with Pharrell Williams and Ne-Yo, or what his favourite song to cover is, or how it feels to be compared to Bieber all the time. If you've got something to ask, here's how to submit your questions – the deadline is Monday, May 7 at 10 a.m. ET:

- Send them as a tweet to @CBC_Music with the hashtag #ConorMaynardCBC
- Leave them on the CBC Music Facebook page.
- Email them to pop@cbc.ca.
- Leave them in the comment section below.
