If you've been following Montreal's "pots and pans protest," then you've probably seen the viral video by Jeremie Battaglia that has been making the rounds

Montreal-based singer-songwriter Jason Bajada has made his own document of the nightly protest, which features his song "The Sound Your Life Makes."

Here's Bajada's statement about the video:

Never have I seen Montreal so beautifully together. People, young and old, march and protest the recent student tuition hike & bill 78 peacefully with their pots & pans every night at 8pm. Smiles are contagious and the city vibrates to the clanking as multiple neighbourhoods gather in the streets, uniting in one giant celebration. This is the sound Montreal makes!"
Bajada isn't the only Montreal musician to make noise about the protest. During their recent appearance on Saturday Night Live, Arcade Fire wore red squares on their lapels in support of the student movement. And yesterday, Ariane Moffatt released a reworked version of her song "Jeudi, 17 Mai" to reflect the ongoing demonstrations.
