Yesterday, Toronto rapper Aubrey Graham, or as you know him, Drake, let the world know about one of the struggles in his life:
The first million is the hardest.
— Drizzy (@Drake) May 30, 2012
Then out of the darkest and wealthiest corner of the internet, 84-year-old Texas billionaire T. Boone Pickens, famous for being the 328th-richest person in America, tweeted back:
The first billion is a helluva lot harder RT @Drake: The first million is the hardest.
— T. Boone Pickens (@boonepickens) May 31, 2012
To which the 2011 Juno host aptly responded with:
@boonepickens just stunted on me heavy.
— Drizzy (@Drake) May 31, 2012
As Gizmodo comments on this whole bizarre exchange that only Twitter could have created, “There has never before been a point in history when a young black guy rich off of Canadian soap operas and luxury super-rap could exchange words with a quasi-eccentric super-rich octogenarian who loves wind power. Now they can—in public. And that, simply, is awesome.”
Correction Gizmodo, this isn’t just awesome, it’s #awesome.
Apparently, the below photo of Pickens is in reaction to something else Drake said. We can't imagine what, though.
