Karkwa’s lead singer Louis-Jean Cormier is about to debut his first solo album.

We haven't heard much from Karkwa this year, after they decided to take a break from touring. But they haven't been resting on their Polaris Prize-winning laurels.
Last week, the band launched its first live album. Last January, Julien Sagot (Karkwa’s drummer) released a solo album named Piano Mal and Francois Lafontaine (Karkwa’s keyboardist) produced Marie-Pierre Arthur’s second album Aux Alentours, which was released in February.
