Well, the tribe has spoke, and the 2012 Polaris Prize Short List has been announced. Like every year, it's a varied list, and I'm sure that all of you have your own opinions about it that you're dying to share!
Today though, I'm thinking particularly about the performances at the Polaris Gala in September. Amidst all the excitement last year, my favourite part of the night was seeing haunting performances from acts like Braids and Timber Timbre. After all, the Polaris Prize is designed to celebrate music, and what better way to celebrate it then by watching it unfold in front of you?
So who are you most excited to see this year? Do you think Handsome Furs will enjoy a moving on stage reunion? Will Drake show? Will Yamantaka/Sonic Titan do something awesome and kind of scary?
