You’ve heard Gotye’s hit song “Somebody That I Used to Know,” and on Tuesday you can hear an in-depth interview with the Australian pop musician. The singer, whose real name is Wally De Backer, visits CBC Radio 1’s Q to chat with Jian Ghomeshi.
In this repeat of his May appearance on the show, Gotye discusses his meticulous approach to sound, how “Somebody That I Used to Know” almost didn’t happen and where he sampled the first two notes from his hit song. Check out the interview above or tune into Q on CBC Radio 1 at 10 a.m. and 10 p.m. ET (10:30 in Newfoundland).
