Jason Collett, the singer-songwriter and member of Broken Social Scene, is offering up a sneak peek of his upcoming album, Reckon, with a new video for the song "I Wanna Rob a Bank."
Debuting in Canada here on CBC Music, the video was directed by Corey Ogilvie and includes footage from the Occupy protests in New York that Ogilvie gathered for his film, Occupy: The Movie. The album, and this single, takes a look at the recent financial crisis, and at people's reaction to it.
Reckon will be accompanied by a bonus disc, Essential Cuts, a look back at Collett's career that includes two previously unreleased B-sides.
