Three major artists have new albums on the way. Two of them have released plans on Twitter; plans by the third remain hush-hush.

On Friday, Lady Gaga tweeted a photo of herself with a tattoo that reads, “ARTPOP” along with the message “new ink new album.” The cryptic tweet was slighty clarified a couple of days later by another tweet: “make sure when writing about my new album/project ARTPOP that you CAPITALIZE the title, *its all in the details*.” So we now know that her new album will be called ARTPOP and it will also be a project. Clear enough? The album is expected next year.

On Tuesday, MIA took to twitter to solicit and answer 10 questions about her new album. In the Q and A session, the singer revealed the album will be released in December, along with a documentary, a book and an art exhibition. MIA also said the album will not feature any collaborations and it will sound like Paul Simon “on acid.” The tweets have since been deleted.

Unlike her pop colleagues, Beyoncé is keeping her new album under wraps. The singer has reportedly rented an entire studio complex and hired security to make sure nobody gets access to the music before it is released. A source says the singer is working with Kanye West and Hit-Boy, the producer who produced Beyoncé’s husband Jay-Z and West’s “N*ggas in Paris.”
