Country superstar Taylor Swift has revealed details for her latest studio album, Red.
Swift made the announcement on Monday, during a Google+/YouTube live chat with fans. The album, Swift's fourth, will be released on October 22, and will be preceeded by a new single, “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,” which is set to be released on Monday evening via iTunes.
During the live chat, the Grammy-winner explained the album's title: “I called it Red because of the tumultuous, crazy adventures in love and loss that it chronicles. In my mind, when you experience love that's fast paced and out of control and mixes infatuation, jealousy, frustration, miscommunication, and all of those lovely emotions…in retrospect, it all looks red.”
