Last night in Toronto, Feist was crowned winner of the 2012 Polaris Music Prize for her latest record, Metals.
The annual honour is bestowed for best Canadian album of the last year, based solely on artistic merit. Now in its seventh year, the Polaris Prize has previously been awarded to Arcade Fire, Karkwa, F--ked Up, Caribou, Patrick Watson and Final Fantasy (a.k.a. Owen Pallett).
Today, Feist dropped by Studio Q to discuss her victory and how her relationship with Metals has evolved.
