Ontario rockers Three Days Grace are back with their fourth studio album, Transit of Venus, which hits stores on Oct. 2. Before its release, the whole album is streaming here on CBC Music. Listen to it below.
Transit of Venus is the followup to 2009’s Life Starts Now. The album was recorded in Toronto with producer Don Gilmore, who has previously worked with Linkin Park, Good Charlotte and Dashboard Confessional. Track two on the album, “Chalk Outline,” is the first single. The song was released in June and is currently number eight on the Billboard Top Rock Songs chart in the U.S.
Success south of the border is nothing new to Three Days Grace. The Ontario four-piece has sold more than six million albums in the U.S. since their 2003 self-titled debut album went platinum on the strength of the single “(I Hate) Everything About You.”
Three Days Grace head out on a North American tour later this month. Transit of Venus is available on Oct. 2. You can pre-order it now on iTunes.
