I fear I am in the minority here, but I don't believe I have ever regretted being a fan of any song from any band, EVER. It's true. I still think Cyndi Lauper's She's So Unusual contains some of the catchiest songs the world has ever known. I still have the RATT headband I bought from the ROCK SHOP in Surrey when I was 10! One of my favorite videos of all time is a PLATINUM BLONDE video! I loved the HUMPTY DANCE. (anyone?)
So I am not ashamed to tell you what my first concert was. It was 1994. I was 19. It was at the Orpheum in Vancouver. It was the Barenaked Ladies. And it was awesome. It was my first time at the wonderful Orpheum theatre. I was invited to go by a girl whose name I can't remember anymore. We watched from the balcony, and I remember singing every song.
Okay, I don't listen to them as much as I used to, but I think their first album, Gordon, is still great.
