I remember a time when we didn't have the facebook and twitter and tumblr and what have you.
All we had was a program show that was broadcast on satellite and web radio. You didn't need your Flash 10, we didn't transmit at the unwieldy rate of 128kbps, and you didn't have need for an internet connection of 256kbps!
And Javascript! Jiminy! Don't get me started on that Javascript.
It's all too much.
So, The Craig Norris Hour is hearkening back to a simpler time with a good, old-fashioned satellite/web radio program. Some talking, some listening, some laughter, some tears, some learning, and probably a little buffering. Hi-o.
Of course, this afternoon, I'm taking my old-timey yearning to a whole other level. I'll be sitting in for Rich Terfry on Radio 2 Drive. That's a terrestrial radio program show!
What do you think about when you think of the "good old days"?
