When did you get introduced to John O’Regan? Was it when he fronted Guelph alt-rock four piece the D’Urbervilles or when he went solo as the confident, vibrant, pop star Diamond Rings? Perhaps it was even when the D'Urbervilles re-branded themselves as Matters.
Being a huge fan of the D’Urbervilles I was excited to see what John O. had in store as a solo artist, but was very surprised when it involved choreography and makeup. I instantly loved his transformation. In fact the video for “All Yr Songs” couldn’t have been a better intro:
