Stars, "Backlines"

Favourite Montreal band Stars go small in their latest video, which sees them performing in a tiny old-school diorama as a miniature Godzilla takes on a toy tank – and you don’t even need to put a nickel in.

Wintersleep, “Nothing Is Anything (Without You)”

Wintersleep goes old school with a talking portable CD player, a mysterious phone booth, a vespa, and one band member’s tubular journey into outer space in this new video for their charming tune “Nothing Is Anything (Without You)”.

Two Fingers, "Vengeance Rhythm"

Electronic music veteran Amon Tobin has always been known for his dense, pitch black sound – and with this video, he has found the visuals to match. It starts innocently enough, with a teddy bear in a child’s bedroom, but quickly descends into horror film-worthy darkness.

Diamond Rings, "Runaway Love"

Hot Rods, snakes, birds of prey, bulldogs and weightlifters are a few of the muscular elements of this new Diamond Rings video, which also comes with spinning motorcycles, marshmallows roasted over blow torches, and tongue piercings. It’s always cute when synth bands try to look tough.

Wool on Wolves, "Midnight Avenue"

There’s something decidedly cinematic about this black and white, multi-frame video by Edmonton’s Wool on Wolves, who mix performance footage with gritty street scenes on this first video from their upcoming album, Measure of Progress. Besides, who doesn’t love sparklers?
