Hey podcats, I have a concert today from Vancouver's Bitterly Divine. They're led by Tewanee Joseph, the CEO of the Four Host First Nations, the group that made sure the Olympic Games recognized and repsected the traditons and protocols of the Lil'wat, Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh, on whose traditionional territories the 2010 Games were held.
Five of the seven members of Bitterly Divine come from the Squamish nation and this year they're nominated for Best New Artist at the Aboriginal Peoples Choice Music Awards where Ab-Originals is up for Best Aboriginal Radio Music Program. Make sure you vote for before October 6th!
