Some musical alliances never die. It's virtually inconceivable that in 1971, when Randy Bachman left the Guess Who, he'd find comparable if not greater success with vocalist Fred Turner, as part of Bachman-Turner Overdrive.

Even less conceivable? After Bachman's official departure from BTO in 1977, Bachman and Turner formally re-united over 30 years later, to rock all over again.

We recorded the mighty rockers at the MTS Centre in Winnipeg, in front of a sold-out crowd who also came fully ready to rock. If you're prepared to don your bandanna, flick your lighter in the air, and throw your neck out with head nodding, then you need to tune in to Canada Live on November 1. Can't wait to rock? Check out Concerts on Demand.

asdf Here's a sample of what you can expect, and believe me you ain't seen nothing yet.

Either way, crank up your speakers, and launch unapologetically into your most polished air guitar riffs.

Nov. 1 is also the launch of Guitar Month on Canada Live (and on CBC Radio 2, Radio 3, and CBC Music). Tune in all month to hear amazing guitar performances, from acoustic to electric, rock to world.
