November may be well known as Guitar Month; or even a legitimate month to grow a moustache and support a good cause. November is also Native American Heritage Month, National Diabetes Awareness Month and also Picture Book Month.
But on my blog post today I'd like to make an announcement: I hereby officially announce November to be 'Try Not To Get Sick Month'. You see, I woke up this morning with a slight tingle in my throat and chest. Just enough tingle to have me searching my cupboards for natural cold remedies. I was racking my brain trying to remember the simple concoctions my mother and friends always suggested. Those quick fixes that include lemon, ginger and honey; or even raw garlic and a magic wand.
What are your common cold remedies? What are the remedies you grew up to and did they work?
