Happy Weekend.
In regards to lovers of music, the weekend seems to require it's own unique playlist most times. That is a theory I've always tracked in the back of my mind while enjoying quality time, a playlist and a pair of headphones. I tend to listen to my new favourites and recent discoveries throughout the week as they soundtrack a hectic five days. But on the weekend I like to just hit shuffle and allow random play to control my day.
On today's show I'm very much in that random state of mind and will do some Radio 3 weekend shuffling of my own. I have an array of musical goodies today; artists such as Peaches, Kae Sun, Martha Wainwright, Abdominal & the Obliques and Hayden.
