Wrath of Khanna's Album of the Week: Meet Me at the Muster Station by PS I Love You

My Album of the Week is Meet Me at the Muster Station, the fantastic debut full-length by PS I Love You, and you can win a CD copy of it by listening closely to today's show. For some of us, PS I Love You was the band John O'Regan of the D'Urbervilles/Diamond Rings could not stop raving about after he played a show with them. After seeing them live, I too caught the mania; very few young bands have the power and unassuming presence of PS I Love You. Think of the best parts of Dinosaur Jr, Pixies, AC/DC, Sebadoh, and sure, maybe even some Wolf Parade, all rolled into one dynamic sound, and you have PS I Love You's Meet Me at the Muster Station. It's a raw, emotive roar of a record and it's one of the best things I've heard all year.

Are you a fan of PS I Love You? Are you planning on seeing them live any time soon or picking up a copy of Meet Me at the Muster Station?

I have five copies of this CD to give away to the first people on the blog to respond with correct answers to questions I'll ask on the air throughout today's show. If this ends up being you (once!), please e-mail vish_khanna [at] cbcradio3.com with "Ketchup & Muster" in the subject line, and your blog moniker and shipping address in your message.

Old or new, Canadian or otherwise, what is YOUR album of the week?
