Everybody has to start somewhere, and just a few weeks ago, thousands of aspiring musicians uploaded their original songs to CBC Music to take part in our Searchlight competition for Canada’s best new artist.
On Friday, March 11, we unveil the regional champions who will compete head-to-head across the country in hopes of being named our Searchlight winner. Could this be someone’s big break? We hope so.
