Are you ready for festival season? Summer will be here sooner than you think, and that means big crowds, big tunes, and tossing beach balls around while you wait for the next band.

One sign that it's almost time to dance in a field with tens of thousands of your closest friends: Osheaga has announced its 2013 lineup.

The headlining acts are The Cure and Mumford and Sons, with Phoenix, New Order, Vampire Weekend, The Lumineers and Kendrick Lamar also performing.

But there are also some interesting rumours swirling around: according to La Presse, there are two acts that haven't been announced yet but are going to join the lineup later.

They're a couple of basic, under-the-radar three-piece bands, but you may have heard of them: Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Green Day.

There will definitely be a bunch of fantastic Canadian acts at the fest, including Tegan and Sara, A Tribe Called Red, Hollerado, Hannah Georgas, We Are Wolves, Diamond Rings, Dusted and Humans.

Check out the full list of officially announced acts below (the poster points out that there are still at least 20 artists to come, so keep your eye on the Osheaga website for updates):

The festival is going down August 2-4 at Parc Jean-Drapeau in Montreal, but we've already put together a playlist of the artists that will be in attendance, so you can get yourself psyched up well in advance. No beach ball required.

Check out the full playlist over on 8Tracks (or click the image at the top of the page).
