Here at CBC Music, we've been making a lot of top 25 lists. In the past couple of weeks, we've counted down the top 25 Canadian singers ever and the top 25 Canadian rappers ever. But why should the perennial stars get all the glory? So many artists appear on the scene, make a big impact — maybe one song, maybe three, maybe just a reality show — and then kind of disappear. And while they're not going to make any greatest of all time lists, we love them all the same.
We're calling this "25 forgotten Canadian pop stars from the past 25 years," but none are from the past five or six. Even our memories aren't that short. Check them out in the gallery above. And if your favourite didn't make the list, Massari about that.
