I'll bet I've got you thinking with that Pecha Kucha, eh? Nothing like throwing around a bit of Japanese to get you thinking.

The phrase translates to chit chat, but also can be translated to An Intersting Night with Intersting People. It all started in Japan back in 2003 as a regular event featuring creative people showing slides, or more specifically, showing 20 slides every 20 seconds. You have this limited time to make your case, then on to the next presenter.

Pecha Kucha has become so successful it's now a regular event in over 250 cities throughout the world. Today CBC Radio 3 producer Brent Hodge joins me to chat about the event, as does Matt Lyall of The Racoons. His band kicks off the sold-out event tonight in Vancouver.
