A while ago, I revealed in a blog that I do something that I'm not entirely proud of: I Google myself...regularly. It began when I was in a band that was (all of us were) into finding out if there was any press about us. Then we would e-mail each other and talk about our findings. Then when the band broke up, I kind of took it from there. Not proud.
Well, I found a new thing to not be proud of!
I don't have Facebook. There is one great thing about having Facebook. It is such a great tool for announcing events, like shows, and getting the word out there without leaving your house. I love that. It almost makes me want to get an account.
But why do I need to get an account...WHEN MY WIFE HAS ONE!
It has come in handy. Shows have been well attended, and I didn't even make a poster. But, basically, I am a spammer. I got my wife's password (she gave it to me), and I have been using it for my own personal agenda. Deplorable? Shameful? All that.
Do you have any friends who are not on Facebook? Is it wrong to lurk via someone else's account? Have you ever googled yourself?
