This blog is inspired by a video I saw just recently by Jeremy Fisher called "Cigarette". The video centers around the day in the life of a young cigarette, looking to be fulfilled by that one special match. This video fascinates me because, by the end of the video, I found myself feeling for the cigarette!
It made me think to old IKEA commercial, where a guy gets a new lamp and discards the old one. There is a scene where the lamp is in the garbage on a dark rainy night. And just before you start to weep for the LAMP(!), A guy comes on the screen to tell you what a dope you are for actually feeling sympathy for this discarded appliance.
BUT I DO IT! The characters my wife and I have created out of inanmate objects could inspire a new children's show. Every car I have purchased since I started dating my wife has been given a name. MY PIANO HAS A NAME! AND IT'S OWN VOICE!
DO YOU EVER GIVE LIFE TO INANIMATE OBJECTS?
