Feast or famine. That’s life, and that’s my life here at CBC Radio 3. Usually I sit alone in one of the studios, but today it’s outside on the plaza for the CBC Open House with all lots of old, and hopefully - new friends.
But I won’t be leaving you out. Yes, you far away from the Vancouver sunshine (yes, it’s true, the rain stopped for a day). Because as always the show is all about you.
Today I want to know:
WHAT’S YOUR PERSONAL THEME SONG?
Every sitcom, late-night show and even sports teams all have them – why shouldn’t you.
Actually, on that last example… Vancouver’s own junior hockey team the Giants, don’t have a theme song. And today, I’ll do my best to convince team CEO Stuart Ballantyne to take on an R3 song for the team. At the very least, I’ll give him some songs to play during the game – I think we’ll all heard enough Van Halen’s “Panama” at an ice rink.
