Good Golly Miss Molly, it's the final Album of the Week of 2010! Ahhhh! Why am I screaming? That was weird. We've spent the last few weeks looking back at the year that was and so now, I believe it's time to take a look at the year to come! Here are some artists who I believe are due to release the Most Anticipated Albums of 2011:
- Pat Jordache - debut album due out on Constellation (January)
- Buck 65 - new album (January 18)
- Shotgun Jimmie - Transistor Sister (March)
- The Magic - Will the Chinese Democracy of Toronto indie-rock come out in 2011???? I hear it will.
- METZ - debut full-length is almost done!
- Grand Analog - EP this Spring?
- Christine Fellows - Femmes de chez nous out on Six Shooter (March)
- Cadence Weapon - full-band, sing-y Roquentin (Spring)
- One Hundred Dollars - new album done, out soon, songs sound goooood...
- Peter Elkas - rocker, Repeat Offender on New Scotland (February)
- Rural Alberta Advantage - Departing on Paper Bag (March 1st)
- Ohbijou - Songs have been written, but will there be a record?
- The Luyas - Too beautiful to Work (February 22nd)
- Snowblink - Long Live re-released on Out of this Spark (February 15)
- Hey Rosetta! - Seeds (February 15th)
What do you make of my list there? Who else should I have included on my "Most Anticipated Albums of 2011" list, eh? Who would you most like to hear a new record from next year? Old or new, Canadian or otherwise, what is YOUR album of the week? Also happy holidays and see you in 2011!
