This has literally been years in the making. There are few of us here at CBC3 who are serious fans of electronic music, but there has always been some insurmountable challenges to giving it the space it deserved. The major hurdle to the genere is the fact that since it features a sampled mix of music from a number of artists, we have to be 100% sure that we are not putting out anything that has not been okayed by the original creator. No easy task, but one producer Brent Hodge stepped up to explore. Our hope is that this will be the first in a sustainable series of excellent podcasts featuring electronic artists from across the country.
And so to cut the ribbon on our inaugural DJ Series podcast we are proud to feature a mix by Calagary's SmallTown DJ's (aka SmallTown Romeo) featuring music from loads of CBC3 artists, both old and new. So throw yourself a little lightswitch rave and tell us what you think.
