I'm not sure how your Christmas worked out in terms of treasure, but mine wasn't the crazed feast of music it normally is. I got my sister the new Jay-Z book Decoded, which I received in turn (by default from dad, who actually bought it for her) and she got me the deluxe reissue of The Promise: The Story of Darkness on the Edge of Town by Bruce Springsteen. Plus Michelle got me Le Noise by Neil Young so that's something. Oh! And piano lessons. I've long wanted those, so that was a nice surprise. Some very nice stuff there all told but, in a sense, kind of quiet for a musical haul. Not that I don't have enough new music coming my way every day. Wait, maybe that's what mine loved ones were thinking too...
