Dinner parties can bring people together, and they’re a good excuse to hang out with people you know. But what if your dinner party was more like a blind date?
Blind dates can be scary, fun, and usually take place at a restaurant. But what about having someone you don’t know over to eat? What if it was 8 people you didn’t know?
Vancouver’s Social Bites' goal is to bring strangers together under one roof to appreciate food. Hobby chefs welcome people they haven’t met into their homes to share a dish they’ve prepared. Diners travel in pairs, and visit two homes in the same neighbourhood. Today we’ll get the scoop on “dinner excursions” from Social Bites organizer Annika Reinhardt.
