Will the Breakfast Club ever eat in Toronto again? Not this week! I'm heading to Hamilton's West Town Bar & Grill to meet with resident guitar-slinger and songwriter Luke Doucet to discuss his new album, Steel City Trawler.  For your pleasure, I have copies of this CD to offer to the first people on the blog who correctly answer my questions about today's show. Oh, and we may just engage in a game of When I Think of ___, I Think of ___ too.

From his time playing guitar with Sarah McLachlan, forming the band Veal, and finally going solo, Luke Doucet has earned a rep as a very charming, dedicated, and strong voice in folk and rock music. He's also a noted producer, overseeing records by NQ Arbuckle, Rose Cousins, and his wife Melissa McClelland among others. For Steel City Trawler--which is accompanied by a beautiful, liner note-sized comic book, illustrated by David Collier--Doucet handed over production duties to Sloan's Andrew Scott, who also co-wrote some of these excellent songs. I'll be asking Luke all about all this over breakfast in the Hammer.

Are you a fan of Luke Doucet and The White Falcon? Planning on seeing them live soon and/or picking up their new album, Steel City Trawler?

I have six CD copies to give away to the first listeners who can correctly answer the following questions about today's show on the blog:

1. What did Vish order for breakfast at the West Town Diner?

2. Name three bands/artists that Luke has played in/for.

3. What was the first song that Luke learned to play on guitar?

4. Which member of Blue Rodeo is Luke filling in for on an upcoming European tour?

5. Whose haircut is Luke hoping to emulate?

6. Which band do I play a song by right after I play Luke Doucet's "The Ballad of Ian Curtis?"

There you go, the answers to these questions should turn up on today's show. If you end up being the first person to post a winning answer on the blog, please e-mail vish_khanna [at] cbcradio3.com with "The Marathon Man" in the subject line, and your blog moniker and shipping address in your message.

Ever eaten a particularly memorable breakfast in Hamilton? What makes it stand out?

Please fill in the blank within five seconds of reading the following: "When I think of Lilith Fair I think of ____."

What are YOU having for breakfast?
