Vancouver's claim to musical fame comes in many genres, think power pop rock New Pornographers and punk rock's DOA. And somewhere in between I would put NoMeansNo.
Not exactly punk, not exactly rock, sort of jazzy and quite possibly the pioneers of Math Rock. In a way who cares, their musical output since 1979 when brothers Rob and John Wright formed the band is nothing less than stellar. And picking one song feels like a crime. But law break I will have to do: this is "So Low" from their 2006 release All Roads Lead to Ausfahrt.
