I’m currently compiling as many photos of storefront puns as I can. For example, here on Main street in Vancouver, there’s a place called “Bedcetera”. Groan, I know, but catchy. More examples? Okay!
While in Scotland recently, I discovered a window repair company called “Pain In the Glass” and then in Prince George, a restaurant called “Pho U & Me”.
As many of you know, I love puns, which explains my absolute joy to discover that Timber Timbre’s upcoming sophomore release (April, 2011) is called “Creep on Creepin’ On.”
Album title puns? What could be better than that?!!
It was all the inspiration I needed to dedicate today’s show to one of my favorite pass times. Heck, I'll even replay some highlights from my head-to-head “Pun-off” with Dan Mangan last summer as moderated by Chris Kelly.
I'll also share with you what I think is one my best puns yet — oh, and by all means, feel free to share your clever wordsmithing on the blog today, should you feel so inclined.
