Breakfast Club #52 - The Rural Alberta Advantage

Ladies and gents, I'm barely here and yet the Breakfast Club continues on with my very special guests, The Rural Alberta Advantage! The excellent folk-punk-rock power trio are playing Hillside Inside in Guelph again, this time with Sarah Harmer at the River Run Centre on Friday night. Their new record Departing isn't out until next month but I thought I'd better catch 'em while I could, as they're hitting the road pretty hard soon in what promises to a be a break out year for the band. So, we're headed to Easy Restaurant in Toronto to chat and munch on some food. Are you excited? Vish sure is!
Are you a fan of The Rural Alberta Advantage? Any plans to see them on tour or pick up their new record, Departing?
I have five CD copies to give away to the first listeners who can correctly answer the following questions about today's show on the blog (if you guess in advance, an adorable baby pony is sent to return ill-fitting pants, only to discover it left the receipt at home):
1. What character did Amy play in her first public musical performance when she was in grade 3?
2. How would Paul (incorrectly, I might add) describe his place in his family?
3. What would Paul affectionately say is “our thing?”
4. What is one of Amy’s only regrets about being on tour so much with the RAA?
5. According to Vish, what is the slogan for this year’s Coachella Music Festival?
The answers to these questions, and possibly others, will turn up on today's show. If you end up being the first person to post a winning answer on the blog (once!), please e-mail vish_khanna [at] cbcradio3.com with "Vishal Vancouver DisAdvantage" in the subject line, and your blog moniker and shipping address in your message.
Have you ever eaten at Easy Restaurant? If you could've made breakfast for Dennis Hopper, what would you have served him?
What are YOU having for breakfast?
