It's the most wonderful time of the year - fall! For those unaware, this is the time of year in Canada when the Aboriginal music industry reaches its climax. The Aboriginal Peoples Choice Music Awards are scheduled to go down in Winnipeg on Friday November 4th! The final round of voting is in full swing until October 6th so if you want to throw in your two cents, do it! I had a great time putting this one together and I was very pleased to see that there were a few new artists to add to my playlist! The Human Orchestra took my down a path I've never really been down, they're such a fall band for me. As much as I hate the term "emo" I do tend to listen to mellower sounding music around this time of the year. Two Saskatchewan artists from today's show will be making their way down to Winnipeg around the same time as the Peoples Choice Awards to take part in Aboriginal Music Week. Riva and Conrad Bigknife are set to perform on November 3rd at The Pyramid Cabaret.
