We might only be halfway through April, but just about every summer festival in Canada has already announced their lineups. From The Stan Rogers Folk Festival in Canso, N.S., to the Folk on the Rocks festival in Yellowknife, Canadians have literally hundreds of music destination choices this summer.
If you are thinking of enjoying one of these events but are having a tough time deciding, stay tuned! Over the next couple of months we will be presenting a series of in-depth blogs that will cover summer festivals from coast to coast.
Artistic directors from each festival will not only tell us why their festival is unique and worth going to, but also what performers they are looking forward to seeing.
Some of the continent’s very best singer-songwriters and country artists will be headlining, and we’ll have their stories .
As well, emerging artists are often discovered at the festivals – you’ll hear about them first right here.
If you’d like to know where the best singer-songwriters and country musicians will be performing, then let us be your summer festival music guide.
