Every week, Bandwidth host Meg Wilcox gives her pick for a great, upbeat track by an Ontario artist to kick-start your weekend.
Fire Flower Revue is a Peterborough-based remix and production outfit. Its sound adds a dash of romantic je ne sais quoi to beats and a catchy collection of sounds, objects, friends and collaborators.
You can also often find Jarret Prescott, who’s half of the Revue, down at Bluestreak Records in Peterborough – one of his side jobs – so if you’re in the area, stop by and say hi!
The sweet, almost lazy beats to “2 Sweet Days Ago” somehow make me want to nap and dance at the same time. Click below to hear the track.
